Clinical
Individual Psychotherapy
Also know as classical talk therapy, IP uses a dialogue between therapist and client to explore and identify learned habit patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving that are the source of distress and difficulty. Over time the familiarity and safety of the therapeutic relationship provides a new and optimal environment to correct maladaptive patterns and relearn more effective ways of being and relating.
Contemplative Psychotherapy
Perhaps the most popular new therapy of the last decade, CP incorporates time tested self-healing principals and meditation methods into classical talk therapy. The process of identifying and overriding unhealthy habits is enhanced and expedited by the development of a client’s own wisdom and awareness though meditative study, reflection and practice.
Couples Counseling
Relationships are an essential aspect of a healthy and happy life, but can pose an enormous challenge if conducted unconsciously and unwisely. CC uses classical talk therapy between partners or family members to disarm reactive defences and exposes instable dynamics between individuals, while developing the tools of effective communication, realistic expectation and selfless intimacy to deepen bonds.
